Located right on the seafront with fabulous views of the ancient wall of Tossa lies one of the most emblematic eateries in town, the Victoria restaurant. The building was once a warehouse and a fish and meat shipping centre, but it was converted into a small hotel-restaurant as tourists began to venture into town. Jaume, the grandson and third generation of the founders, explains his grandparents, Antonio and Maria, began cooking and serving the town’s traditional dishes, time-less recipes that he and his parents would later inherit. Jaume is the heart and soul of the business these days, taking care of the 17-room hotel and the 60-seat dining hall where he serves slow-cooked cuisine that specialises in fresh fish, rice and cim i tomba.
