Paco and Isabel met almost 30 years ago while working in the restaurant business. The two kept building on their experience in the field until they decided to open a restaurant of their own, a place where they could experiment with their ideas and make their culinary dreams come true. As a good Alicante native, Paco is an expert in preparing rice dishes, which are one of the house specialties. He also had the great idea of installing a grill behind the bar where he currently cooks a wide array of delicious dishes. The name of this culinary project, “tiraboçon”, means corkscrew in Aranese, which fits with their philosophy that good food is best accompanied with good wine. It’s a place where you can enjoy lovely views through the large windows and where the food and service are second to none.
