Husband and wife team Joan Carles, the head chef, and Elisabeth, the director, opened Sebas in 2002, in upper Lleida, to realize their dream of running their own business. Over the years, they’ve been tweaking their menu to fulfil their vision of a traditional restaurant with a modern touch. One notable strength is the daily menu made with quality local and seasonal produce, which is delicious and reasonably priced. There’s a dining room ideal for group lunches and dinners and a lovely terrace for you to try the local vermouth. Its location is excellent as there’s a lush playground and free parking just 50 meters away. From the menu, you have to try the Lérida snails “a la llauna” to which Joan Carles gives a special touch, as well as the tripe in homemade sauce.
