Although it’s been operating for 12 years, owners David Álvarez and Joana Olivé took over more recently in 2017. Joana, drawing on experience in renowned restaurants throughout the Baix Ebre and Priorat region, is in charge of the kitchen, while husband David takes care of the room. In a historic 19th-century building which once produced oil, the couple presents a proposal based on three fundamental pillars: tradition, locally sourced produce, and attention to detail. e result is honest and delicately prepared food that tantalises the diner. On their menu, highlights include the homemade cannelloni, the scrambled black pudding with onion and mushrooms, and the clotxa, a typical sh dish of the Ribera d’Ebre.
