José’s mother opened this establishment in 1952 as a beachfront kiosk known as the “Chiringuito de María”. About 30 years ago, the family decided to transform it into the L’Ona restaurant because of its privileged location facing the sea. Here, you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood dishes that have been cooked to perfection. The most popular, however, are the rice dishes or the fish fillets which have been grilled to retain their natural flavours, all of which is best accompanied by a glass of red wine or cava. The terrace is perfect when the weather is fine, and features live music all throughout August. It must also be said that this is one of the few restaurants on the beach to open during the winter.
