The owner’s family has been in the hospitality industry for over thirty years. It all started when their parents opened a restaurant called Oliver in a nearby village, which was in honor of a big tree at the entrance. Not long ago, they moved to an unbeatable seaside location in Port Balís. Nowadays, the restaurant is run by the son, Alex, along with his wife, Ivonne. Together, they serve authentic traditional Mediterranean cuisine and specialize in meat and fish recipes. The trio opts for organic and seasonal food, which is why they only buy fresh produce from local farmers and nearby fishermen. Most customers are long timers, folks who’ve been coming to the place since it was in the previous location. Nevertheless, the sea change has also bought new clientele who keep coming back.
