Lola Bistro is a project of Ivonne and David, who decided to leave
the bustle of Tarragona for the tranquillity of Altafulla. David was a
DJ who swapped vinyls for dishes by devoting himself to gastronomy
with his wife. And he continues to impress the crowds! David whips
up recipes from the produce of Ivonne’s fishermen family, which he’s
managed to transform with his own personal touch. The duo considers
the finer details, to the point where Ivonne writes the menu
each day by hand, which varies depending on what they found at
the market that morning. The decor is reminiscent of an old winery
or the kind of French restaurant where you can spend hours sitting
down and tasting quality locally sourced cuisine, which is the core of
David and Ivonne’s business.
