Circa 1974, Grandfather Masferrer made the decision to leave his farmer job behind and set up a restaurant on a ranch. At first, mostly neighbours, workers and masons from the surrounding area came to eat, but the clientele soon began to grow. On weekends, you can now expect to see busloads of retirees who come for the quality and good value of the menu. The restaurant is also ideal for the little ones thanks to its park, football field, and private summertime pool. In the kitchen, the home-style cooking specializes in chargrilled meats, cannelloni, and calçots (when in season). The founder’s grandson, Jordi, has continued the tradition of the restaurant ever since he finished training at El Celler de Can Roca.
