Currently run by Maria and her son Toti, this small cosy restaurant was a dairy store back in 1952 that sold yoghurts, milk, and cheese. After the dairy came a music bar until the L’Ajustada finally arrived on the scene. Yet the origins of the restaurant didn’t begin here, but rather back in the 80s when Maria and her husband, Jaume Palomer, opened a restaurant called La Paella across the road. Later, they would move to the current premises to take advantage of the magnificent interior patio (where the cows once lived) and set tables outdoors when the weather was nice. The cuisine is home-style and the service amicable, as only a family who’s been living here for generations would know how to do.
