Nearly 30 years ago Sebastián and Rosa took over this establishment
to turn into their very own culinary project. The couple had run a
snack and tapas bar for many years, but they wanted to do something
different, so they found this place which served grilled meats
and decided to follow the same tradition. Aside from meat, they’ve
incorporated other options such as paella, pasta, and the chef ’s daily
specials into the menu, all of which are made from fresh seasonal
produce. Sebastian’s son was only 17 years old at the inauguration,
and he accompanied his parents until they retired. These days, he
runs the business with his wife, Mari. The most striking feature of the
restaurant is its round barbecue grill in full view of everyone, where
they sear the finest quality Girona meat.
