Emília and her daughters continue the work that her late husband,
Fermín, began many years ago. The couple met in France but settled
in Palamós in 1978, opening this maritime-themed restaurant in a
charming two-hundred-year-old house, which still preserves its original
tiles. Their two daughters, Verònica and Anna, run the two dining
rooms with charisma and dedication. When the father was still alive,
they served produce from his garden and from the hens which he raised
himself. At the restaurant, they only cook fresh seafood which they buy
from the Palamós fish market every morning. The place doesn’t have
a fixed menu, so staff call the dishes out according to what’s arrived in
the fishing boats that day. Whenever there’s a fishing ban in place, the
team takes advantage of the situation to go on holiday.
