Jordi Sangrà and Marta Ollé are the owners of this family-run restaurant
that offers a modern take on traditional Catalan cuisine made
from seasonal produce. Jordi’s grandmother María began the family’s
gastronomic trajectory in a Sant Guim de Freixenet restaurant,
which she ran for 50 years, with the help of Jordi’s parents, Melitó and
Montserrat. As a child, Jordi helped his grandmother to stir stew and
quickly realized that cooking was his passion. He complemented his
family culinary experience by studying hospitality and doing various
internships before deciding start his own venture. With Marta in the
dining room and Jordi in the kitchen, the two form a tandem team
that complements each other perfectly. Veal with mustard gratin and
whole grilled rock octopus are some of their star dishes.
