With the help of their mother Mari Tere, brothers Teima and Pep
are the third generation of the Caballé and Llambrich family to be in
charge of this L’Ampolla establishment. Their grandparents, Tresina
and Josep Llambrich, inaugurated it 52 years ago. Now Teima, who
studied at the Hoffman School in Barcelona, is responsible for the
kitchen, while Pep takes care of the room. When they took over the
business in 2009, the duo renovated it with a modern style and decided
to focus more on building a family atmosphere. The menu features
plenty of fresh fish from the town market. Star dishes include stinging
nettle rice, squid with caramelised onion, and crunchy oyster, the
latter of which showcase L’Ampolla’s famous regional oysters.
