This hotel-restaurant has a long tradition, first opening in 1890 by
Jaumet dels Bous, who saw a commercial opportunity in this location
on the highway between Barcelona and Andorra. Later, his children
continued the tradition, as did their children, right up until the current
owner Laia, who is the fifth generation of the Marimon Closa family.
Throughout the years, each generation has been able to adapt to the
tastes and needs of their customers. Nowadays, you can see how the old
barn has been remodelled into an attractive hospitality facility with a
large dining room, a modern kitchen, a cute cafeteria-bar, and contemporary
guestrooms. The cuisine here preserves the recipes and cooking
methods of the first generation of the family, with a traditional charcoal
grill for the meat and clay pots for the stews to slowly simmer in.
