Neus and Jaume bought this farm in 1984 with the help of their parents, Montserrat and Carmel, to open as a hotel and restaurant. Montserrat was the first to run the kitchen, later followed by Jaume. However, it wasn’t until Santi, of the third generation, came along that things really kicked off. He recognised his passion for cooking from a young age and left to study at hospitality school, later acquiring knowledge from the internationally renowned chef Arzak and traveling to Canada, Hong Kong, and Macao. Finally, he returned home at 30, ready to take over the restaurant’s kitchen. His signature cuisine is regional, with a special menu adapted to each season that is made from locally sourced produce. In 2018, it was one of just two Catalan restaurants to receive the Bib Gourmand award. Not much else to say, really.
