Jordi Bonfill and Laia Ferrer have run this restaurant since 2006, in a hundred-year-old historic building inside the Tortosa Municipal Park. Laia looks after the kitchen thanks to her training at the Cambrils School of Hospitality as well as experience in restaurants in Tarragona, Barcelona and San Sebastian. It was there she acquired specific expertise on veal, which she currently sources from Basque Country. The establishment boasts a warm family-friendly atmosphere and a magnificent terrace to relish in al fresco meals and dinners, not to mention a nice gin and tonic or two. Local cuisine on offer includes rice “del senyoret”, which features fully peeled shellfish. A few oriental dishes are also available such as squid tempura.
