The owner’s grandfather was born in this farmhouse known as
Adroher. His son Lluís, who was a brick mason until back pain forced
him to change careers, launched into the challenge of opening a snack
bar with his wife in Sant Gregori. In his spare time, he refurbished his
father’s farmhouse, thinking of converting it into a restaurant someday.
Lluís and Maria Engràcia realised their dream by working long
hours until the new restaurant was finally ready. Years later, the business
passed into the hands of their two children Sònia and Lluís, along
with his wife, Marta. They have their own vegetable garden they use
to cook Catalan recipes with seasonal ingredients such as “calçots” and
artichokes. Standout dishes include duck in sauce, garden beans, and
other regional home-style dishes. Book in advance because it gets busy.
