Hospitality industry professionals Salvador and Teresa opened Diagonal on May 1, 1968, after determining that a good restaurant in the rapidly growing Pineda neighbourhood would be a solid business decision. The third generation now runs the place, as Salvador currently enlists the help of his children. The restaurant is known for its seafood rice dishes, although its home-style cannelloni are also a hit. The team have specialised in seafood and seasonal cuisine and have been supporting the area’s gastronomic evolution for over 20 years with exquisite cod and mushroom-based dishes.
