Restaurant Clàudia opened its doors in 1988 as a gastronomic project
of Jorge and his wife, as well as his son who works as the chef. The
trio serves Mediterranean market-fresh cuisine and also specialise in
stone cooked meat which is served by weight. The concept works by
customers choosing the cut and quantity, which is served on a hot
stone along with a selection of tasty sides. As for fish, they offer an
extensive range depending on what they find in the market that day.
It’s worthwhile coming here during the mushroom season because
the owner is a huge fungi fan, an ingredient which he’s learned to
cook in unusual and surprising ways.
