A fisherman family headed by Ramon and Vicenta, opened this restaurant
in 1951 to offer quality seafood from near and afar. These days,
their daughter, Maribel, and their granddaughters, Laia and Núria,
take care of the business. Laia, who studied at the Cambrils School of
Hospitality, is in charge of the kitchen, while Núria helps out with administrative
tasks. In 2016, Casa Ramon changed premises to settle in
the seaside town of Les Cases d’Alcanar, where its privileged oceanfront
location and wide terrace would allow guests to fully immerse themselves
in the ambiance of the coast. Inside, they offer local, modern
and traditional cuisine, continuously renewed without renouncing its
roots. The top dishes are the rice and seafood combinations from the
Delta, among which the rice with lobster and grilled prawns stand out.
