Ca l’Estevenet is an odd place. There’s no sign out front, and it feels like you’re eating in someone’s private home. The owner’s grandparents had this farm, where they worked the land and raised animals. Here, they began to sell wine and serve food to the workers who were building the outlying roads of the time. Little by little, the establishment became more popular, so the couple, Esteve and Núria, decided to convert the family farmhouse into a restaurant. From then on, they have served hearty home-style cuisine, simple but eloquently cooked and following traditional Catalan recipes.
