Adolfo started working in this restaurant in 1965. As it happened, years later he ended up taking over the place along with his wife, Pilar. The restaurant became known as a family-run operation because, in addition to the married couple in charge, some relatives from Teruel arrived to lend a helping hand. The team served simple roast and stewed cuisine that adopted a more modern touch with time. Over the years, the two eldest children, Adolfo and Cristina, have taken over the business. Later, younger brother Carlos joined the team as the chef. The siblings respect the family philosophy of obtaining the best and most ecological produce wherever possible. The restaurant is located in the old casino of the Sant Gervasi municipality, a hundred-year-old building which has been preserved and renovated to retain its archaic and stately ambience.
