Back in the twenties, grandfather Martí lived right here in a fishermen’s
shack next to the Terrides beach huts, which were typical
of the time. As he noticed there weren’t enough beach huts to meet
demand, he decided to build more on his land which is how it all
began. The grandfather took charge of looking after the boats of his
new customers, while his wife cared for their personal belongings are
whatever else they might’ve needed. In 1956, their children began
serving meals as well, honing in their skills over time to become one
of the most emblematic restaurants of Sant Pol. These days, the third
generation runs the restaurant and serves a menu that specializes in
rice and fideuás (a kind of paella made with noodles).
