Toni studied hospitality in Vall d’Aran, and at the age of 16 he started working as an assistant at the Tip de Lleida restaurant. While still a student, in 1992 he won a first-place cooking prize. This encouraged him to continue working in various kitchens to build upon his culinary ideas and experience, which would earn him even more awards. The Lleida chef decided to share his gastronomic knowledge in a book called “Cuina catalana contemporània”, as well as through cooking classes. Finally, together with his wife Isabel, in 2011 the two launched this personal project, an original restaurant dedicated to rice dishes and fresh market cuisine. In 2015, they moved to the current location, which was also the year Antoni represented Catalonia at the Gastronomy Congress in Genova and received the Bib Gourmand recognition from the Michelin guide.
