In a 650 year old building within the Tarragona old town lies Restaurant Arcs. The establishment has been run for over 15 years by the couple Carles and Merche, both of whom are former students of the Cambrils School of Hospitality. Inside, the cosy dining room with natural stone walls preserves eight gothic arches in perfect condition, while the kitchen offers the recipes of their grandmothers which incorporate new techniques and culinary concepts. Based on continuous innovation, its philosophy results in dishes which combine overarching textures, aromas, and flavours with eloquent presentations to offer an everlasting sensation. Local produce is the norm, while a wide selection of wine covers all five D.O.’s (designations of origin) within the Tarragona province.
