On November 13, 1974, Antonio, who had extensive experience in the hospitality industry, opened the Reno Restaurant. Years later, his wife, Maria Ángeles, joined him, followed in 1999 by their young son, Antonio, who studied at the Barcelona School of Hospitality. Although initially a tapas bar and an a la carte restaurant, customer demand eventually saw it end up becoming a cafeteria-restaurant. Distinctive features include its cosy atmosphere and friendly service, its generous portions made to share (they also offer half portions) and a wide menu of traditional cuisine made fresh with high quality locally grown produce. Recommended dishes include the cod and oxtail esqueixada.
